One of our goals is to coordinate educational programs and workshops for Albertans involved or interested in economic development.
EDA offers a range of economic development training and skills development for our members. Our Basic and Advanced Community Economic Development Training Programs (CEDTP) provide timely and practical information to community economic development decision makers, business and community members and support staff. Completion of these courses may be applied to the Certified Economic Developer (EcD) designation, recognized nationally and internationally. To download our CEDTP brochure click here.
EDA’s Scholarship Program helps members further their education in the field of economic development by offering financial support.
We also offer a range of other professional development courses and seminars throughout the year in order to meet the dynamic, changing needs of this sector.
