Community Visits
From November 13 to December 6, 2013. The EDRP team, led by Economic Developers Alberta (EDA), British Columbia Economic Development Association (BCEDA) and the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), took technical assistance teams of economic development professionals to 10 Alberta communities impacted by the June 2013 flood. These teams worked with a lead in each community to organize meet and greet sessions, focus groups and business interviews. All of their feedback was incorporated into individual reports with recommendations to help them better position their communities for the short and long term.
