Help Wanted: The Future of Work

The world is changing so fast, we need to anticipate the skills needed for future industries as opposed to taking a reactionary approach that would leave our workforce playing catch-up. If we anticipate the skills that will be needed and prepare our workforce to provide them, our communities will prosper.

When we have an understanding of the drivers that cause change, we can predict hard trends (demographics, technology, etc.) that are shaping the future of work. Linear and cyclical changes can give insight as to the timing of these trends and how to use them to benefit our communities and ourselves.

Attend the webinar to learn:

  • Why it’s important for you and your board to anticipate change
  • What steps you can take today to position your community to take advantage of the trends taking place
  • What skills are going to be necessary for the jobs of the future
  • How to attract work to your community
  • How to be smart about the future in order to stay relevant
