EDA is involved in a one year pilot project with our partner organizations in Saskatchewan (SEDA) and British Columbia (BCEDA).
EDA is sharing the resource platform Economic Development Online (www.ecdevonline.ca) with our members.
The purpose of this online resource is to support economic development professionals, community leaders and volunteers by offering a comprehensive library of best practices, tools, professional development opportunities and a funding search engine inclusive to the three provinces and beyond
The majority of the website is restricted to subscribers and user credentials have been established for all current EDA members. Simply log in and enter your email address (the same one you use for your EDA membership) as your username along with the password EDA2018.
As you know, collaboration is extremely important in our role as economic development professionals and community leaders. Working together on this Pan West Network Initiative to enhance the practice of economic development benefits communities and organizations throughout each province.
We invite you to share best practices and tools with your colleagues. Have a look at the various subject areas and email any links or documents to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have trouble accessing the SUBSCRIBERS ONLY area you may forwarded to this same email address.
At the end of 2018, EDA will be reviewing our collaboration with Economic Development Online, as well as looking at how we might enhance the tool for better support of our collective economic development efforts across Western Canada.
