Economic Developers Alberta (EDA) is your economic development network in Alberta. We are also the only professional association for economic developers in Alberta with an in-depth knowledge of Alberta's economic development information, resources and contacts.

Member Categories
Regular individual member- includes individuals that support the objectives of the organization and are employed in economic development in Alberta as a private practitioner, corporate business representative or a municipal, provincial or federal government employee. Regular members have full rights to vote in the affairs EDA and otherwise enjoy the benefits of membership as from time to time defined by resolution of the Board of Directors.
Associate individual member- includes individuals of a corporation or business who do not necessarily belong to an Alberta economic development organization, but support the objectives of EDA and may supply goods or services to EDO's. Associate members do not have the power to vote or hold office, receive awards or scholarships, or host major EDA events.
Corporate member - is open to representatives of a corporation or business who do not necessarily belong to an Alberta economic development organization, but may supply goods or services to EDO's. Corporate members do not have the power to vote or to hold office, receive awards or scholarships and host major EDA events.
Alumni/student member- includes individuals that generally support the objectives EDA as students with a valid student card, or past members of the association that are retired, in transition, or no longer employed in economic development that wish to remain in contact with the profession and its members. Alumni/student members shall not have the power to vote or hold office.
