EDA’s Annual General Meeting and Professional Conference attracts almost 200 experts in the field of Economic Development and elected officials from various parts of our Province. Updates on economic development issues are a highlight of the Conference as the Minister of Finance and Enterprise is recognized; delivering a keynote address during the Minister’s Dinner and Awards Ceremony.
Our next Conference is being held April 6-8, 2011 in Kananaskis, Alberta offering you a stunning backdrop to showcase your company or organization to economic developers and elected officials from Alberta’s communities and regions. The theme is “Fostering resilience, innovation and sustainability".

Volunteer
Our 2011 Conference Chair is EDA Board Member John Hankins. John is currently building a committed team of volunteers to plan, organize and implement the conference. As part of this, EDA is always seeking volunteers to assist.
The types of volunteer roles available involve:

- Registration and Logistics
- Marketing and Promotion
